TVE news bulletins report on BACacollida families
The challenges associated with finding host families due to the increased cost of living and the surge in prices are greater than ever, a problem that has coincided with the growing number of children in children’s centres.
RTVE interviewed Victòria, who is hosting for the third time, and Adam, a student who found himself on the streets when he came of age and is now enjoying the warmth of a home once again.
Victòria: “I have two spare rooms and there are people who need them.”
The BACacollida family programme offers students a life-changing opportunity to live with a family for six months.
